Direct printing on poplar wood gives images a natural and highly original look.
The porosity and grain of the wood make each print unique. Being an organic material it is sustainable and 100% recyclable.
You can choose two printing options: in natural wood or with a white base. We also offer you 2 thicknesses: 5mm or 10mm, the latter is ideal for the piece to stand still.
Printing options
Natural wood: in this print the white areas of the original image are not printed leaving the natural color of the wood in place. The wood will affect the final color by making the image slightly more yellowish.
White-backed wood: the wood is first covered with a thin layer of white ink and the image is printed on top. In this way, the colors of the image are not affected as much by the background color of the wood, but the surface of the wood and the grain are appreciated. In this case the white areas on the image will be white.
