CALIBRATION OF SCREENS AND PRINTERS

Colour profiles, or ICC profiles, describe the range of colours that a device can display or print, usually on the CIE LAB colour map. In other words, they describe the colours that each device works with in absolute terms.

Proper calibration of monitors and printers is essential for proper colour treatment and print quality.

COLOR PROFILES IN EGM

At EGM we create our own colour profiles using high precision tools and software such as the EyeOne Pro2 X-Rite, I1 Profiler and GMG.

All our printing equipment and systems are calibrated and checked before commissioning using a specific profile for each of the different materials on which the prints will be made.

We have the FOGRA certification to generate valid printing proofs, guaranteeing high quality and reliability in the creation of contract proofs or validation prints. This process certifies the correct treatment of the colour and final quality of the delivery of the image files, regardless of the system on which they will be printed.
